It’s 2009 which means two things on this site. First off all, let me wish you all a happy new year. Second, we have a whole year of reviews coming up. During the next few weeks I’ll finish off the Spike – After the Fall series, tell you all about the newest Buffy issue and to round off this Whedonesque beginning of the year, I’ll give you my thoughts on the latest Angel – After the Fall books. In other reviews I will cover the four Bruce Wayne – Murderer / Fugitive books, 30 Days of Night and the new Joker graphic novel by Brian Azzarello. There will also be coverage of a bande dessinée, namely Enki Bilal’s epos La Trilogie Nikopol.
With all the different comic book series out there, it is sometimes necessary to look at an encyclopedia to be able to follow the many story strings. On this site you will learn whether the Spider-man encyclopedia is any good and since I got the new and improved version of the DC encyclopedia from a special someone for Christmas, I’ll also give you my impressions of this huge well of comic related knowledge, as soon as I can dig into it.
Planned movie reviews for 2009 are Largo Winch, The Spirit, X-men Origins: Wolverine, and of course (should it ever come out) the highly awaited Watchmen. There will also be a revamp of the link collection section, either as daily news or as a regular weekly collection of noticeable links from the web.

100 posts and 30,000 views in only a few months. We are happy about these numbers and hope to stay with you a long time. Next up will be reviews of the Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe collector’s edition, the newest Buffy and Angel comics (once I get a hold of them), and Batman: The Last Arkham.
Hi there folks. As of last week I’m officially starting on my final paper which will be quite a handful of work. So I wanted to let you know that I will probably only have time for one post a week, maybe two if I manage to free myself for a few minutes. Of course with only two people working on this site, this will mean that there will not be as many regular contributions anymore. If any of you however is interested in contributing to the page, or becoming a regular writer for this blog then just let me know.

I will be gone for the weekend so there will be no link collection this week and also no new review until Monday. I also updated the Batman Continuity page by using the wikipedia timeline list in order to get a bit more accuracy out of it. Next up I am also planning to do all the major DC Universe crisis stories (Crisis on Infinite Earths we did already). This means that I will try to review all the major stories that are important for the mix and will also introduce a continuity page for this purpose.

Renovations of my old appartment are still going on, so there will be no new work from me this week. Hopefully Malik will manage to get one or two review out. I will be back next week with the regular reviews. Stay tuned!
Just dropped by quickly to let you all know, that I won’t be able to post any reviews until the weekend. I’m currently moving and with all the packing up of boxes and all the dull paperwork involved with such a step, I will be too busy to do any quality work for this page and therefore will rather postpone the next review until later.

After one and a half months of solo work, I finally got the first new author to join Comic(s) Relief. He has been a close personal friend of mine and I hope we will have a fruitful cooperation. With his adition to the team, I will also add a new category called Overview. It will feature general introductions into specific topics like a series, a comicbook character or other things connected to our main topic.
He is new to the world of blogging and has created this page to get acquainted with everything. Welcome aboard, dude!
